Floodlights Extension Planning Application

Did you know we have asked Trafford Council Planning Dept to extend (for one year) the time we can use the floodlights and pitch up to 9.30 pm? HOCKEY PRO SHOP NOW OPEN

We plan to open Monday to Friday approx 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Saturday 11am to 2pm and Sunday 10am to 1pm depending on demand and staff availability. (Currently closed Weds). In addition to our existing stock of new sticks, shin pads, gloves, bags and much more, we also have a limited range of second hand Bowdon Kit – cash only please on these items. Any second hand kit donations welcome too! Thank you.

SPRING HOCKEY RESTART

We will be running a full training programme from Monday 29th until the end of June to make up for time missed over the winter (no junior/ladies training on Easter Monday). DECEMBER UPDATE ON PLAY

The headlines for Bowdon are: t Clubs/players living within T3 can resume training and playing matches within their own Tier only.  t Adult players living outside GM cannot travel to Bowdon for hockey. Junior Hockey October update

It has been fantastic to see some of our U8s and U10s their first taste of competitive games this season, and see our Bowdon Bears (year 4-6) squads play in tournaments in Crewe and in the GMJHL.  Our two Badgers teams (year 8/9) and two Beavers teams (year 7/8) and new Year 7 Development team have also demonstrated great progress in their external league fixtures across the region.  In addition, we have over 150 players aged 13-18 Read more…
